DESCRIPTION
The Lotus Plaza shopping and entertainment center has been working in Petrozavodsk since 2014. This is a bright, modern and large -scale project in Karelia, which meets all the current requirements of international operators. In a four-story complex with a total area of 87,800 square meters, more than 80 federal operators operate. Among the anchor tenants, the hypermarket Sigma, Sportmaster, Children’s World, Eldorado, H&M. The entertainment zone is represented by a 340 sq.m covered ice arena, a 6-dummer cinema “Mirage Cinema”, the children’s center “Anthill”, Eco-Park Zooleye, as well as the rope park “Norway Park Karelia”. Ground parking is designed for 1600 cars, underground parking for 440 cars.
The shopping and entertainment center is located near the upper Chapaevsky ring at the intersection of the two main highways of Petrozavodsk-Lesnoy Prospekt and Chapaeva Street. The object has an ideal location in the current trading zone: next to the shopping center is DIY Leroy Merlin, the grocery hypermarket “Sigma” (attendance – more than 400,000 people a month). An indisputable advantage for the super-regional shopping center is the location on the road to the St. Petersburg-Norway International highway.
On September 26, 2019, the 2nd line of the shopping center opened, which connected with the operating building “Lotus Plaza”. The total area of the second stage is 19,400 sq.m, the parking is designed for 500 cars. On 2 floors there are shops of various specializations, services of services, as well as anchor tenants-the Boshe-Park Family Leisure Center and the Fitness House fitness center.

The design and branding department of Retail Design Pro, led by Armen Kanayan, developed for the second stage Lotus Plaza interior design. The team of experts was given the task of creating a beautiful and ergonomic space, which emphasizes the main concept of the shopping center and combines all the functional features of the building. When developing the design, it was decided to use the natural motives of Karelia by creating naturalistic accents in the interior. All decor elements, lighting and design compositions in trading galleries are united by general style, which contributes to the creation of a single and holistic space in the eyes of visitors to the shopping center. The company’s design and branding department prepared detailed drawings of all design elements for the project, carried out the selection of materials and copyright supervision with a departure to the object under construction. Designers worked in close coordination with the management company, jointly ensuring the quality of the implementation of the project.
