Lotus Plaza received 2 PROESTATE & TOBY Awards 2020

Retail Design Pro developed the interior design and facade lighting for Lotus Plaza’s second phase of the project. Lotus Plaza received 2 PROESTATE & TOBY Awards 2020 and was recognized as the best in Russia:

★ The best project in the nomination from 150,000 to 400,000 sq.ft.
★ The best architectural solution for a commercial real estate object.

“Our vision was to create beautiful as well as ergonomic space that emphasizes the Lotus Plaza brand. Aesthetic beauty, purity and elegance of lotus flower inspired us”, said Armen Kanayan – head designer of Retail Design Pro. We communicated Lotus theme through interior design, architectural shapes and bright lighting which symbolizes purity of lotus. All décor elements such as lighting and design elements in the shopping galleries are united by natural motifs. This contributes to the creation of a single and harmonious space in the eyes of the mall visitors. Interior design and lighting design facilitate orientation in the shopping center, vertical and horizontal navigation. Interesting landmarks stimulate retail excitement and help to create memorable shopping experience.

Also, our company prepared detailed drawings of all the design elements necessary for the implementation of the project. This consisted of completing the lighting project, designing recreation areas, carrying out the selection of materials and visiting the facility under construction to oversee implementation.

The designers worked in close coordination with the management company to ensure the quality of bringing such an ambitious design project to life. It should be noted that the success of the project became possible thanks to the strategic drive of the investor, Leonid Beluga. He supported the most daring and creative decisions with the goal of making the Lotus Plaza shopping center a bright landmark in the city of Petrozavodsk.

Lotos Plaza received the “Outstanding Building of the Year” distinction, one of the most prestigious professional recognition awards in the commercial real estate and management market across the world.

The professional PROESTATE & TOBY Awards is held by the Organizing Committee of the PROESTATE International Investment Forum and the American Homeowners and Building Managers Association (BOMA International) with the support of the Russian Guild of Managers and Developers and the Moscow Investors Association.
