Hazar Plaza Construction

Hazar Plaza – 380,000 square feet shopping and entertainment center would be a significant addition to the city of Aktau, Kazakhstan and especially to the district 31 where it is located. Therefore the developer team has accelerated the building pace. In the 2nd quarter of 2021, construction began with the erecting of the building’s frame. By the end of the year, the focus shifted to designing the appearance of the facade. At the moment, finishing touches of the facade are being completed while internal construction work is underway. When construction completed, Hazar Plaza will be the largest shopping facility in the city. Hazar Plaza shopping center incorporates contemporary design and architecture, has a well thought out retail concept and positioning, with wide range of goods and services, unique beautiful interiors. We hope it will become a highlight and an attraction for all residents of Aktau.

Naming

City of Aktau is located at the Caspian Sea – Hazar sea in Iran and in some Turkic languages. The Khazars also were a semi-nomadic people that lived in this area. This was inspiration to name shopping center “Hazar Plaza”. Our concept allowing to interact with culture and forgotten traditions of the past through though the language of contemporary architecture and design.
